Kimchi Pancake


Start off right with a savory pancake which packs a flavor punch and all the gut healing you’ll need to kickstart your day!

Prep Time: 8 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 8-10 (4 inch) pancakes

  • ½ cup AP flour
  • ½ cup Rice flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt, kosher
  • ¼ teaspoon Sugar, brown
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • 1 ½ cup Kimchi
  • 3 tablespoon Green onion
  1. Whisk all dry ingredients ( flours, salt, sugar, baking soda)
  2. Small dice kimchi and green onion
  3. Melt butter
  4. Whisk all wet ingredients
  5. Whisk together all dry and wet ingredients thoroughly
  6. Heat pan, griddle or skillet on medium high, coat with remaining butter
  7. Scoop 3 oz of batter onto cooking surface, spread to about 4 ” diameter
  8. Cook on first side for three minutes, flip and cook for another two minutes
  9. Top pancakes with more kimchi, green onion and, why not, Tender Belly bacon!
