Soon after Elan graduated from Colorado Mountain Culinary Institute he found his passion for Japan and Sushi. Subsequently, Elan studied Sushi in Japan where he was exposed to an array of techniques, tools and cutlery. This experience loudly resonated which set him on a path to pursue a career as a full time Sushi Chef and start his business, Element Knife Company.
