Dan Lasiy was born in Livingston, New Jersey in 1983. After high school he attended Johnson and Wales University where he earned degrees in culinary arts and culinary nutrition. After cooking professionally for 12 years, he opened Rebel restaurant with his life long friend Bo Porytko. Dan and Bo share a passion for not only food, but the way it brings people together. Rebel is a cumulation of everything that has inspired them over the years. it pays homage to food history, and utilizes a new a approach to what a restaurant can be.

Staple Beer:

Hot sauce and eggs, not much time for anything else.
