Christian Batizy


Christian bas been in the bar and restaurant industry for over eighteen years, working in just about every position possible to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible. In 2009 he graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management and set out to realize his dream of owning one of Denver’s top restaurants. In 2012 this dream came to fruition when he became the managing partner at The Lobby, a Chef-driven brunch, lunch and dinner restaurant in the heart of downtown. He met Jensen in 2013 when he decided to re-brand the concept from formal to fun & edgy, and a lasting partnership was born.

Now a partner in other projects such as Habit Carbon and Brewed Food Fermentation, Christian has found his calling as a prolific CFO and all around numbers guy. He also enjoys snowboarding, going to as many Red Rocks shows as humanly possible and spending time with his business partner & wife, Meg, and their insanely fluffy dog, Zoe.
